If you don’t drive, it’s very inconvenient to get to hotel and there’s basically nothing nearby. I have never stay in any 5 star hotel that only offer complimentary bottle water on the first day, and there’s no supermarket nearby within 5min walk. There’s no phone in the room, so you couldn’t call room service to get water. I wouldn’t recommend to stay here.

Personale sempre sorridente e cucina deliziosa. Cucina squisita e colazione ottima con varietà di scelta. Un soggiorno che resta nel cuore!

Most stunning hotel and views with friendly, warm and helpful staff. Lovely breakfast and evening cocktail bar and beautiful private beach area. Our favorite time on our family trip through Southern Italy, would love to return!

What a beautiful stay. First time to Sorrento and we were celebrating our Honeymoon. Firstly, the staff are outstanding and very accommodating. They gave us a warm welcome when we arrived and were wonderful throughout our stay. The hotel is beautifully located looking over the sea and we were able to see this at Breakfast and Dinner. We stayed in a garden view room and it was beautiful, the room was spacious with great air conditioning. There were amenities in the shower such as body wash, shampoo, conditioner and shower cap etc. The food at Breakfast was beautiful and many choices, the Sorrento tomatoes were delicious. My Husband said the coffee was beautiful also. We also decided to have Dinner one evening looking over the sea and the food was delicious. Again the staff were outstanding. The pool and beach are also a great place to relax. The private beach is kept clean with a restaurant and a bar. The pool is beautiful and has an area for lunch and drinks looking over the sea. When we visited both the pool and private beach it was quiet. Thank you for a beautiful stay, we enjoyed celebrating our honeymoon (luna di miele) here. We can’t wait to visit again. I am a seasoned traveler and did months of research for my first trip to the Amalfi Coast. The most important amenity for me was a private beach to be able sun and swim. I wrote to the hotel months before hand to make sure the beach would be open when my family arrived. I was told it opened the month before we would be there. Upon arriving we were learned the beach was closed for repairs. It had been open (we has seen the announcement on the hotel’s social media). Along with the beach being closed, so was the bar and restaurant that is on the same level as the beach. Problems arise, I get it. I bit my tongue. Well, I had also asked about gluten free options before arriving. The breakfast in the morning is quite nice for those of us who don’t have Celiac’s (a family member of mine does). There were 12 to 15 lovely pastries each morning, but NONE were gluten free. With an assortment you would think one or two are GF, especially after I had inquired. We decided to use the gym at the hotel, but it was also CLOSED. I question how this hotel is a 5 star resort. I had some nice conversations with other guests from Boston, London and Rome who were also surprised that the beach was closed, because they expected it open. An Italian friend of mine who recommended this hotel said “the beach is the best part of the experience” and was shocked it wasn’t open. It’s one thing to have property issues, but it's another thing to not know how to remedy the problems for your guests who are paying over $500 a night. I have stayed at high end resorts for work and business. Parco dei Principi is not run like a luxury hotel. Guests have been notified prior to arrival of the issues. I would have booked elsewhere. The hotel could have comped our meals…or offered a free night (we were booked for 3…or reimbursed our transportation to and from the hotel from the train station. There were options to make the guests feel that they were heard. We were offered a drink ticket for a free drink and the offer to be taken care of if/when we book at one of their “resorts” in the future. If we aren’t taken care of in the present, why would guest ever book again in the future? I will say the AC worked well in the room, the pillows were comfortable and I liked soap in the shower, but none of this makes amends for being robbed of the beach that was the main part of why we booked the hotel.
