I wanted to take a break while walking the pilgrimage route and also had some work to do, so I booked a room with a double bed.
Check-in was at 3 o'clock, but I looked a little busy or there was an empty room, so they let me check in a little after 9 o'clock without an additional charge (no Marriott tier).
When I went up to the room, they upgraded me to a junior suite with a terrace, which was even better. I focused on finishing my work and had a good rest.
I hesitated because there weren't many reviews and it was hard to find Korean reviews, but I think I made a good decision to book!
Breakfast was 14.3 euros, and I'm not sure if it was worth it, but I'm satisfied with the fact that I could comfortably handle it. I had a good rest!

We were hiking the Camino de Santiago and wanted somewhere nice to stay in Ponferrada for 1 night so we opted for the AC Hotel. The staff at the hotel were very good and in fact they upgraded us on arrival (thank you!). The hotel itself is quite dated but it was comfortable and clean and the breakfast was good. My only gripe with Marriott hotels is that communicating with them is a nightmare, as the individual hotel websites never show the hotel's contact details - they usually only have a USA call centre number - and the last time I called a USA telephone number from the UK, it cost nearly £10 for a 2 minute call.
