The hotel itself is lovely, very nice design, very pretty. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Location is great if you want to explore the coast. However I was left disappointed at a few things. Service: very slow and lack lustre. It took me around 10 minutes for anyone to for check me in or acknowledge me despite them walking past me multiple times Facilities: there is a kitchen and fridge but no freezer. This meant I had to chuck away decent food at the end of my stay as I couldn’t freeze my ice packs to bring it back home with me Design: there are a few design flaws such as no plugs near the mirror, my hair straighteners didn’t stretch that far But the really cherry on top was the last day… a WhatsApp message asking me to take out the bins? What hotel in their right mind asks people to take out the bins? Is this an air bnb??? Actually not even my air bnb asked me to take out the bins. I see in a response they said it’s because they’re an apartment hotel… I have stayed at many aparthotels before and never once had to take the bins out. Bear in mind there are no lifts, so they expect you to carry all your bags/children/dogs down the stairs whilst also growing another arm to take out bin bags? No way, not happening. Also, check in is at 4 and checkout at 10, that’s not okay. Check in should be 3pm latest and checkout 11am earliest. Especially as we are meant to do the washing and take the bins out! It left a really sour taste in my mouth for what could have been a nice stay
