Excellent location but more importantly great staff caring and welcoming. We felt at home in this paradise during our entire stay. Restaurant exquisite, massage on the beach great and very luxury boutique feel. Definitely recommend to stay in this hotel!

A stunning surprise in paradise where the aim is relaxation. Massages by the beach, pool side drinks and delicious food all make this place ideal for anyone wanting a peaceful and tranquil boutique hotel experience. The rooms and bathrooms are lovely with fresh new linen and towels.

Nous avons passé un séjour hors du temps à Kandora. Nous avons été accueilli avec une délicieuse eau de coco par Iwan et Orfi qui ont été aux petits soins pendant tout notre séjour avec l’ensemble du staff. La villa réservée était déjà superbe mais non avons été surclassé pour une villa encore plus belle. Chaque détails est pensé dans ce complexe , avec une magnifique décoration et un toit typique de Sumba. Tout est fait pour qu’on se sente comme ces soit, et se réveiller avec la vue mer et le bruit des vagues , c’est incroyable. Si vous visitez Sumba east c’est le meilleur endroit où loger.

My wife and I spent a week at this beautiful location. Less than 2 hours flight from the crowds of Bali we were transported to a different world, one with a unique culture, rolling savannahs, unspoiled beaches, delicious food and friendly and welcoming people. While the villas and setting are stunning, what made this trip even more special was the staff - Iwan, Orfi and Angela looked after us so well and made us feel like family, genuine sadness all round when it was time to leave. This is a vacation that will stay with you as a special memory long after you have returned home.

If you’re looking for somewhere to stay in East Sumba then look no further. The KANDORA Luxury villas are just that! Beautifully decorated villas with the iconic and traditional high-pitched roofs. The villas have everything you need for a comfortable stay including air con, fridge and minibars, bath robes, huge TV with Netflix and much more. I was made to feel so welcome from the minute I arrived. Greeted with a cold towel, fresh coconut drink and a snack. Just what I needed after my long journey. There is a lovely pool with sun loungers and a stunning beach, right on their doorstep! Nothing was too much trouble for the team. They even organised a guide and driver for me at very short notice! The food was excellent and I was well catered for as a vegetarian. There’s a great selection of meat and fish for the meat eaters. KANDORA luxury villas are a little slice of paradise and I’m so glad I stayed here. Particular thanks for Iwan and Orfi who went above and beyond to make my trip so special.

The villa offers warm and attentive service, makes you feel truly cared for. You will find the villa tucked slightly in a corner near the beach, giving a sense of having your own private slice of paradise. The view is stunning, and the room itself is spacious, giving us comfortable and relaxing stay.

Our three-night stay at Kandora was truly wonderful. We felt incredibly fortunate to have the entire villa to ourselves. The beachfront location was exceptionally beautiful and peaceful. Evenings were magical with clear views of the stars, and mornings brought stunning sunrises. We were thoroughly impressed with the superb facilities, delicious food, and the staff's helpfulness. The quiet and tranquil atmosphere allowed us to experience a truly peaceful escape, and we already miss being there. We will definitely return to Villa Kandora.

Nice villa in very peaceful place. Beautiful beach where you can see beautiful sunrises. Very kind, friendly and sympathetic personnel. Clean villa, soft and white towels, quite comfortable bed, tasty food. There are some motorbikes for rent.

My family and I had an amazing time at Villa Kandora. The property is in a great location just steps away from a beautiful, peaceful beach and about an hour from a pretty waterfall. The spacious and tastefully decorated rooms surround a lovely pool. The staff is very friendly and attentive, and the food is delicious. Our only regret is not staying longer!
