Great location for GG way, friendly welcome, nice communal areas and bedroom more than adequate for the good nights sleep we needed. Let down by really poor evening meal!

This hostel was the best one we have stayed at. Our room was really spacious, our water pressure was great, they served some wonderful food and drinks, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this hostel to anyone travelling through

Exploring Scotland without too many plans and I stumbled into Morags Lodge finding a warm and helpful welcome. Full of other friendly travellers the lodge offers comfortable sleeping, a vibrant bar, great food and loads of sitting nooks inside and out if you want your own space. Clean and efficient with a ‘no problem’ attitude and a perfect location for enjoying the workings of the Locks in Fort Augustus. Loved my time here!

The staff at Morag's Lodge could not have been more helpful and are very friendly. The hostel is clean and the evening meal was really good. The room I was in was quite spacious, so I had plenty of room for all my kit and the bed was comfy. The ensuite shower was good and very clean. A great place to stay after a long day on the hill
