Just returned from the Barceló. Flew with Jet2 and after a long transfer we were dropped at a nearby roundabout about 100-200 yards away as the coach was too big to get down the road to where reception is. On the way home, you are picked up at said roundabout but there is no seating! This needs to be addressed. Overall the holiday was great, food was really good, beds and pillows were so comfy. Drinks prices very reasonable. B- heaven is great to watch the sunset. One thing we didn’t like was the open plan room with the shower and basin area in the bedroom and only a sliding door for the toilet. This doesn’t seem very hygienic to have to open a door after going to the toilet to wash your hands. Why not have a door to a bathroom instead, feels a bit too quirky and not the best design idea. The sun beds were most uncomfortable with a metal bar sticking in your back. The lifeguard kept his eye on left towels on beds and left a note to remind people not to do it which was good. We like to read by the pool but there was 3 different types of music playing. There were speakers around the main pool, speakers from the pool bar and a very loud speaker playing 12-5pm from the fish restaurant. All playing different music. We eventually went and sat at the top pool which was quieter but it was above the staff maintenance area and there were bottles being thrown into large bins and loud noises from deliveries. We also had the awful plumbing smell that other reviewers have mentioned. Definitely something wrong with the drains. Reception offered to move us or spray the room. Overall it wasn’t as peaceful a holiday as we would’ve liked and probably won’t return

Nos encontramos alojados en aún en el hotel, volvemos a repetir vacaciones en el mismo y estamos encantados. Tienen unas instalaciones bonitas, es súper tranquilo, se respira paz y si lo que buscas en descansar este es tu hotel. Las habitaciones, camas y almohadas son comodisimas. Lo mejor del hotel es el personal, son una gran familia, siempre atentos y dispuestos a hacerte la estancia de 10. Queremos hacer especial mención a Desire, para nosotros una profesional como la copa d un pino, siempre atenta, educada, pendiente d cada detalle, generosa, en fin sin palabras d agradecimiento. Siempre dispuesta a ayudar en mis restricciones de alimentación. En buffet también tenemos q mencionar a Carmen, en repostería, amantes de su trabajo, q lo transmite, pendiente de todo, alegre, uno quiere probar todos sus postres.... Maria del Mar en desayunos, persona cercana, q se preocupa q todo esté bien, ver q necesitamos... En general todo el personal d buffet. Mar que también es una chica súper agradable, alegre, con la que gusta hablar...etc Mencion especial también para Rocío, encargada de bares-restaurantes, gran persona, involucrada 100% en su trabajo, pendiente que todo esté en orden en cada parte dl bares y restaurantes del hotel. Atenta, amable... En BHeaven, Mauricio, Esteban...etc En recepción también un equipo súper bueno, en especial D. Arturo,al cual conocemos desde hace años de su paso por Royal Hideaway Sancti Petri, persona atenta, amable, educada y con un trato elegante hacia el cliente. Solo tenemos un pequeño pero , ya que hicimos una petición de un pan especial debido a mis problemas d alimentación y fueron rechazadas por Adjunta d Dirección, alegando que la cadena no le permitía poder suministrarnoslo. Nos extrañó porque año anterior no tuvimos problema. En general, hotel de 10. Seguro que em olvidó d algunos nombres, ...pk todos son estupendos y son los que hacen que el hotel sea así, las personas q lo forman.

Todo espectacular. Habitación muy buena. Piscinas ideales y muy limpias. Comida excelente, de gran variedad y para todos los gustos. La repostería simplemente fantástica, con un flan de queso inmejorable. Personal atento y siempre dispuesto a ayudarte. En fin éxito asegurado.
