I’d stay there again because the bed was larger and more comfortable than the hotel I usually stay at on my annual trip to see family. Room was clean. The downsides: We arrived at around 11:30 and they wouldn’t check us in until after 12, I get that this is policy but other hotels in the city are flexible and we’d been travelling 20 hours. Also the air con in the room didn’t work and it was very hot for the UK so had a bit of trouble sleeping. They said they’d take a look and gave us a fan because I guess they couldn’t do anything but it didn’t quite cut it…

I can't remember how many times I've stayed at this hotel. It's always my first choice when I come to Leicester. Overall, it's been improving. Opposite the High Cross, it's very convenient for eating and shopping. The hotel breakfast is also rich and orderly.
