Bodysgallen Hall Hotel Restaurant and Spa

We anticipated a memorable afternoon tea experience in the olde world charm of Bodysgallen Hall. The waiter was very pleasant and welcoming. however we had to wait for them to prompt the receptionist who had failed to notice our presence. The finger sandwiches were nice and fresh and the scones were light and fluffy. We were surprised to be given a little pot of mass produced jam in a small jar each. We were also surprised that a slop bowl was not provided with the excellent Darjeeling tea.

We went to Bodysgallen Hall for a Spa treatment and afternoon tea. I had the 80 mins. Forest Therapy Massage 80 Mins with Roisin. It was absolutely amazing. The spa is comfortable and beautifully decorated. The staff are polite, professional and attentive. We went to the main hall for afternoon tea. The sandwiches and cakes were fresh, delicious and plentiful which made a welcome change from some places we have visited! I do not drink tea but this was not a problem (another big issue at some places) and a carafe of good coffee was supplied. The service was fantastic. I have been here for lunch on a number of occasions and the food and service has always been impeccable. I would suggest allowing time for a stroll around the gardens and parkland. I would not hesitate to recommend.

Great garden location, good views, classic old hotel feel, good amenities and very good food. Comfortable room, helpful staff. Requires car (or taxis) to make the most of the area. Would stay again

An enchanting stay. Beautiful location, charming historic property. Impeccable standards throughout stay, restaurant, food, wine, accommodation and service. Will absolutely make a return. Great, secluded location with immaculate grounds, perfect base to explore North Wales coast and Snowdonia National Park.

Had a memorable one night spa break; the room was a well maintained traditional and secluded cottage that provided a perfect sleep. Special complements go to the quality of the bedding that is unmatched with other hotels I have stayed in. Nothing was too much for the staff and they always checked in on us to ask how our stay was going; they provided excellent recommendations for the local area. A special shout out to the spa staff who were attentive and looked after us very well. I underwent an aromatherapy full body massage treatment & facial which was exceptional and demonstrable of a very high level of skill and care. This started with a consultation discussing my wellness needs where I was paired with an essential oil that aligned with my goal of feeling revived and uplifted. I spent a few hours making the most of the Spa facilities which had an impressive sized pool, sauna and steam room. The loungers next to the pool were perfect for unwinding with a book. An easy recommendation for those looking for a wellness break or some self care.

What an amazing place. We couldn’t have felt more welcome. Our cottage was immaculate very comfortable cosy and warm. We had dinner in the hotel restaurant which again was excellent. The service throughout was faultless. Everyone was so attentive and friendly. We used the spa on the afternoon we arrived. It was quiet and relaxing. On our last day we visited the watch tower for unbeatable views of the Great Orme and Conway Castle and had a lovely stroll around the peaceful gardens. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Would love to return some time.
