JW Marriott Maldives Kaafu Atoll Island Resort

Feel wonderful and very enjoyed the vacation, and the spa is amazing!!!!

They say love is what you feel seen and taken care of in all aspects of your life. I feel like we fell in love with this resort and the people who work there. We spent 5 nights at an overwater villa. Everything was meticulously chosen and curated, warm and unique architecture; sublime food; experiences that were truly standout. Also probably one of the few times that I felt my bonvoy status was truly acknowledged and appreciated. This has to be one of the newest resorts in the Maldives and they have captured lightning in a bottle with the perfect mix of people, facilities, and location. The GM Srikanth and his team have built a culture of hospitality and warmth that is ever present across every interaction on the island. We particularly appreciate the care we got from Vish and Shaff when it came to keeping us fed. Aanim out butler who took excellent care of us and ensured we were entertained. Big shout out to Madu at the fitness center for putting us through some fun but challenging workouts. It really felt like home and we can’t wait to be back. Truly one of the best holidays we have ever had.

We had such a lovely time staying at the JW Marriott. From our arrival to the airport, to our departure, the service was impeccable. On arrival we were greeted by Irey our safeeru. He helped us book the restaurants, spa experiences, excursions, and also made our stay extra special with some thoughtful gestures. The room itself was beautifully designed with plenty of space. In-room pool was clean and had a nice view. We also loved the fitness center and especially the trainer Madu who helped us with workouts, stretching and cooling off with cold towels. Breakfast buffet was the best I’ve ever seen, with many made-to-order stations so the food was fresh. We were helped many times by Shaee the waiter, who made our meals enjoyable. He had even found a hat that my husband misplaced at the restaurant. Overall, a wonderful stay. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting the Maldives.

So relaxing and beautiful. From the minute we arrived to the time we left we had the most relaxing stay. The island is beautiful. Very near the airport so the transit time is short. The overwater villa was really nice . The bathroom with the indoor and outdoor shower was excellent. Breakfast is very very good . Participated in a sunset yoga which was great and used the gym a few times where Madu could not have been more welcoming and accommodating. The only slight downside was the lack of fresh seafood on the evening menus . Other than that , stunning hotel In a stunning location . Wonderful staff who exude calm and take real pride in their work. Will be back .

The hotel opened in January 2025 and is still very new. The rooms are beautiful and so is the rest of the resort. The staff is very well trained and is very much focused on making your vacation a personalized one. We had a butler called Isse who was of great help during our stay. Shaffa and Sam in the restaurant also were excellent. Shaffa kept serving champagne based mimosa drinks in the morning. The resort is located only a 15 minute boat ride from the airport in a beautiful blue lagoon. It was a wonderful stay and we certainly will be back. Thanks to the whole team.
