Had a great stay for the Mod weekender in Margate, comfy bed, brilliant shower and breakfast had everything we wanted, garden available to use and gad a covered area so sheltered from rain, car park opposite but you can park on road outside if space available. we will book again for next year.

Very nice hotel with a decently sized room and at an affordable price. Comfortable and clean with everything you want for a short stay. Very nice - it’s on the coast and only a short, scenic walk to the main town. Excellent for sightseeing and the local attractions.

The Hotel is very well situated and the owner (female) is very friendly. The breakfast was good and the staff excellent. A couple of gripes though.. The bed was uncomfortable and the mattresses felt tired and worn out they have tried with a mattress topper but then that gave you a lump in the bed which was right in the middle of your back. We stayed here last year and then the only gripe was the smell coming from the onsuite bathroom... we had the same room this year and the bathroom is still the same. Also there is no way I would stay there again at £120 per night i expect a bit more for my money... Also foot note the Husband of the owner is a very rude man

Cannot fault this wonderful B&B, we were made to feel incredibly welcome and had such a comfortable stay. Lovely location, lovely Hostess, lovely room with an en suitè, TV, kettle with a selection of hot drinks & water, there was a hairdryer, a super comfy bed & to finish off our stay we had a very lovely & yummy breakfast 😋 We can highly recommend & we will be back. One bonus was it was walking distance to a concert we were attending at Dreamland.

Very comfy mattress large waterfall shower decorated lovely. Breakfast very nice garden very nice. Would rate higher than its current 2-3 star. Managed to park free outside of hotel on the seafront. 20 minute walk to dreamland. I could see this hotel has been recently renovated, very fresh and clean and effort put in to decorating and furnishings particularly the garden which was very nice. Coffee served with breakfast was very nice came in its own glass push down jug cafetière coffee press. Would stay here again.

We booked this hotel for one night but couldn’t make it due to my father being taken into hospital. I messaged the hotel the day before to ask if I could cancel and was told that they couldn’t give me a refund as that was the hotel policy. I think this should be down to the situation and not just a blanket decision. I certainly won’t be booking this hotel in the future and I would advise anyone else not to either

A really Excellent Bed and Breakfast Hotel. The cooked breakfast was of a very good quality. Our room was clean and fresh with a great shower! The rest of the hotel was the same. A great hostess meant we had a fabulous stay at the Sherwood Hotel.

Cannot fault this B&B. Perfect for staying over if you’re going to a gig at Dreamland. Placebo were AWESOME last night and this was an ideal location for getting to and from the show. Would recommend as a 2* place in Margate. Clean, tidy and lovely breakfast.
