What a fabulous stay! 8 of us stayed ( 4 couples) for 1 night during our cycle challenge, and David and his wife Shona, couldn't do enough for us. A wonderful Scottish Welcome, very accommodating, friendly and really helpful with recommendations for somewhere to eat ( Aldente - Italian down the road that was excellent!) , and places to visit on our way to our next destination. Beautifully furnished, immaculate, and a delicious choice for breakfast. Definitely one of the nicest B and B's we have stayed in, and we all gave it a 10/10 ¬

Rude customer service
Was accused of not entering the correct passcode for the front door by a rude proprietor when they had got my phone number wrong by 1 digit and had sent to passcode to the wrong phone number. After much deliberation and realising their mistake eventually they did apologise but the hostile attitude adopted by the proprietor was not helpful. I had thought at the time of the booking that the breakfast was included in the price. The proprietor was adament that breakfast was not included and continued with her hostile attitude and just gave us the keys for our room insisting if we wanted breakfast we had to pay for it and must let them know by 6pm. After a very tiring day we had no choice but tocomply. The hot breakfast next day was very average served on a cold plate

Beechwood ensuite very good place to stay the rooms was brilliant spotless lovely clean fresh bedding ,shower nice & warm . A nice breakfast the following day, great safe parking. Owners couldn’t do enough for us & the Price reasonable would book again

Our room was lovely and it had a nice window overlooking the street. We saw staff/host coming in every now and then and they were fantastic and nice.
I had by accident broken a glass of wine and told the host that I'd pay for it however he said that all is good!
Will definitely come back!

Fantastic place to stay, room was big and beds comfy. Great breakfast in the morning with a great selection Host were very responsive to messages and very helpful and kind wouldn't hesitate to stay again. Buses right outside take you into ayr bus station frequent. Would stay again

Ideally situated guesthouse for all that Ayr and Prestwick has to offer. David and Shona were fantastic from the pre stay check in instructions to the hints and tips for any time we return (which we will). Rooms spacious with many little extras that just made our stay so homely. They were always on hand if we had any questions. Cooked breakfast was very tasty and great value. Lots of helpful information in room regarding places to go locally. Looking forward to returning soon.
