As new members of Marriott Bonvoy, we booked 13 nights at Marriott in our 15-day trip, expecting to trust the brand. What happened? The staff shrugged and said "none of my business" for a 175-minute delay, and even called the police.
Complained to the hotel and then to the headquarters? The same excuse - "private operation", no rectification. CC'd to the CEO, but nothing changed.
13 nights of trust, but indifference; the so-called "upgraded treatment" is just a cycle. We will not choose Marriott again.
I want to remind other travelers: if there is a problem, don't expect your trust to be taken seriously.

I stayed here with my boyfriend for a short getaway. We booked a room that came with two large beds, but since there were only the two of us, we used just one bed and didn’t pay attention to the other one. We stayed for two nights, and on the last night, while my boyfriend was asleep, I decided to sit on the second bed to watch TV.
To my shock, when I pulled back the blanket, I found a visible stain on the sheet — it looked like a coffee spill. I was extremely disappointed and disturbed. It felt deceptive that the housekeeping staff had simply made the bed without properly cleaning it.
Of course, if we had seen this on the first day, we would have reported it immediately. But since we only noticed it on the second night, reporting it wouldn’t have changed much.
This was a very unpleasant experience and certainly not what we expected from a hotel.
