I think it's one of the newer hotels in Bali, but it feels quite old. The amount and temperature of water in the showers etc. was very poor. Disappointing considering the price. However, for some reason it improved on the last night of my five nights.
Perhaps it's because the staff are thoroughly trained, or maybe it's Balinese hospitality, but everyone always greeted me with a smile and they were the best I've seen in my five visits to Bali.
The breakfast also changed a lot every day, and you could see that they put a lot of thought into it.
