The first impression you get when you arrive at the hotel is the poor entrance. It's a good thing I only had luggage. If you have a 20+ kg baggage you will find it difficult to bring it into the hotel as there are steps to climb and nobody to help you. The reception staff are not friendly especially the male staff who have an attitude problem. I would rate this hotel as 3 star at the most.

The lake view is first-rate, the room is quite large, and the Montreux Music Festival was very lively. It is very close to the train station, but you need to be careful to find the elevators, especially when dragging large luggage. Pay special attention to walking along the blue lines on the ground after exiting the station (that is, turning left after exiting the station), which will guide you to the location of the box elevator.
The hotel will send an electronic version of the free city transportation card in advance, which goes as far as Vevey, where you can visit the vineyards, and take a bus to the south to Chillon Castle, which is worth a visit.
