The Velona Castle, located on a hill overlooking the Val d'Orcia, a Unesco World Heritage Site (2004), is a restored castle dating back to the 10th / 11th century. Located 1 h45 minutes from Florence and just 8 km from Montalcino, the Castle dominates the Val D’Orcia, with its typical landscape of olive trees and vineyards, which produce the famous Brunello di Montalcino. The Castle has a total of 16 rooms and 29 suites, and have been designed according to two different concepts: Castle rooms and Contemporary rooms. The Resort counts 3 restaurants, 2 of which are open for dinner with a Gourmet Menù at the Brunello Restaurant and traditional italian Cusine at Settimo Senso, and the Dolce Vita Pool Restaurante, located outside the pool area is open only for lunch. The OLISPA is an oasis of pure relaxation that extends over an area of 1500 square meters where the Tuscan travertine dominates in a linear and refined environment: Jacuzzi, two Turkish baths, a sauna, emotional showers and ice falls and 4 pools, two inside and two outside, with thermal water and open 24h.

Sono stato al Castello di Velona e lo consiglio assolutamente. La struttura è elegante e curata, ma ciò che colpisce di più sono le viste: a qualsiasi ora del giorno, il panorama delle colline della Val d'Orcia è qualcosa di incredibile. Ho soggiornato al Castello di Velona questo luglio ed è stata un’esperienza che va ben oltre un semplice hotel. La struttura è un castello medievale restaurato con grande eleganza. Avevo una suite nell'ala moderna e il panorama era da cartolina. È un luogo che stupisce per la sua naturalezza, senza forzature. Ho trovato una cura autentica nei dettagli, sia negli ambienti comuni che nelle camere. Servizio molto attento. È stato un weekend unico.

Soggiornare in un castello come quello di Velona é una esperienza che consiglio a chi davvero voglia vivere giorni di relax assoluto e ami l'ottima cucina. Sin dal nostro arrivo ci é stato chiaro che la nostra scelta di trascorre alcuni giorni in questo luogo esclusivo era la scelta più giusta per quello che ci aspettavamo di trovare, una piscina esterna meravigliosa, una SPA completa, la nostra stanza perfetta, i ristoranti davvero unici. Si offrono trattamementi personalizzati alle proprie esigenze come massaggi che davvero mi sento di consigliare avendoli provati e posso esprimere la mia totale soddisfazione. Noi ci torneremo! Sono stata al Castello di Velona con il mio fidanzato e devo dire che è stata un’esperienza davvero magica. Fin dal primo momento ci siamo sentiti avvolti da un’atmosfera unica. Il castello, perfettamente restaurato, mantiene tutto il fascino della storia ma con ogni comfort moderno. Quello che mi ha colpito di più è stata la colazione: ogni mattina un piccolo angolo di paradiso, con tanti prodotti fatti in casa e artigianali, che sapevano davvero di autentico. Si sentiva la cura e l’amore in ogni dettaglio. E poi… le viste. Impossibile da descrivere a parole: colline toscane a perdita d’occhio, vigneti ordinati e tramonti che sembravano dipinti. Abbiamo passato ore semplicemente a guardare il panorama… È stato un soggiorno romantico, rilassante e pieno di bellezza. Un posto che consiglio davvero a chi cerca un’esperienza speciale, lontano dal caos.

Sono stata al Castello di Velona a giugno con la mia amica, ed è stata una bellissima esperienza. Ho scelto di soggiornare in una camera stile Castello ed è stata davvero una bellissima esperienza: spaziosa, accogliente e con una vista spettacolare sulle colline della Val d’Orcia. Durante il soggiorno ho avuto modo di cenare al Ristorante Dolce Vita, a bordo piscina: piatti curati e gustosi, sotto le stelle e con musica dal vivo. Un’atmosfera magica che ha reso la serata ancora più speciale. Il servizio di sala è stato premuroso ed efficiente, sempre attento ma mai invadente. Ho anche assaggiato il Brunello del Castello: eccezionale, con una struttura elegante e profonda, perfetto da gustare al tramonto con il paesaggio toscano sullo sfondo. Ho vissuto due giorni in totale relax, immersa nella pace e nello scenario della Val d’Orcia. Un luogo che sa trasmettere armonia, silenzio e bellezza in ogni angolo

Siamo stati al Castello di Velona per alcuni giorni romantici trascorsi molto benissimo. La vista sulla Val d'Orcia è magnifica, la nostra camera era elegante e confortevole. La SPA e le piscine con le acque termali sono state rilassanti e davvero piacevoli, il ristorante con piatti e vini squisiti. Un plauso speciale allo STAFF che ci ha coccolato con cura.
