グランドメキュールは3ヶ所目でした。八ヶ岳のホテルでは、キッズスペースが広くあるため子供が多い印象でした。ほかのグランドメキュールと異なり、ラウンジが2ヶ所あります。エグジクティブラウンジが使える部屋を予約したため比較的静かに過ごせました。静かに過ごしたい人には子供が多いことで気になることも多いのかなと思いました。スタッフの方はとても親切でした。ホテルの周りは何もないですが、ホテルステイを目的に行ったのでゆっくり過ごせました。リニューアルして数年のようで部屋も施設も綺麗でした。ロビーに給水所があるのも新しくてよかったです。
部屋にコーヒがないのと、食事の場からのコーヒーのテイクアウトがあったら嬉しかったです！

The facilities are old and poorly maintained as shown in the picture. There are a lot of dirty carpets, various scratches on the walls, and the cleaning is not clean, especially the Japanese-style rooms on the 2nd and 3rd floors. The Western-style decoration on the 5th, 6th and 7th floors is better. I will never book a Japanese-style hotel at Grand Mercure again!

I was quite worried because some of the recent reviews were disappointing, but although there were quite a lot of people, we didn't have to queue for meals, and we were able to relax in the hot springs, which became a very fond memory. The kids also had a lot of fun with the playground equipment in the basement and said they wanted to go back again. However, there was a bit of a queue after we finished eating, so I think it might be better to dine earlier. The food was very delicious. It's a very good inn and I recommend it.
