Best Western Hotel Cristallo, Rovigo

I went to Rovigo for an exhibition at Palazzo Roverella and chose this hotel because it seemed the best in the area, and I didn't regret it. In fact, I was extremely satisfied. The city center is easily accessible, and is very close to the hotel. As soon as you enter, you sense the attention to customer service and a well-defined, professional approach, characterized by high and focused standards—something that's not a given these days, even in superior hotels. From the outside, it doesn't look very promising...a bit dated, business-like, and the area isn't exactly magnificent. But inside, things are different. The receptionist was immediately very kind and made my stay as comfortable as possible, helping me with everything, including the jammed coffee pod machine in the room. The room I had was exceptional. Even though I love super-traditional and historic hotels, this room enchanted me. A modernity that had a touch of art, with everything in its place and functional. Dorelan mattress, choice of pillows, top Molton Brown soaps, razor, illuminated magnifying mirror, very nice shower, etc., so many attentions... which made the stay wonderful. A special mention goes to the restaurant, the sixth. I expected a good restaurant, but not this good. A true gourmet, beautiful location, divine food, beautifully presented and equally as good served by the very talented Diana. Great passion and convincing flavors shine through. Truly excellent. Highly recommended. Things that could be improved? Some details in the lobby don't thrill me: the vintage motorcycle, the piano... and especially the bar. It seems like a separate building, detached from the bar, both for its structural design, like that of an adjacent village bar, and for the quality offered, which doesn't live up to the standards of the hotel and restaurant service. There were also other small things that I won't go into here because I could mention other gems as well... Some things can be improved, but it exceeded my expectations. It's a three-star hotel that deserves four if only a few things were changed. Overall, I highly recommend it and thank you for your hospitality.

This hotel is beautiful. The receptionists are professional yet kind and cheerful. The rooms are cozy and clean. The bed is very comfortable, and the choice of pillows is greatly appreciated. The shower is fabulous. The outdoor area has several tables and very comfortable sofas, and an efficient bar service. There's also convenient parking in front of the building and on the side streets nearby. We had the Smartbox, which included dinner. The restaurant is beautiful and elegant, the waitresses are kind and cheerful, and the food is excellent and generously portioned. Rovigo city center is ten minutes away. The hotel is an excellent starting point for visiting the Po Delta, Ferrara, and Padua. I liked everything, but special praise goes to all the staff, who were always extremely kind: the cleaning staff, the front desk, the waitresses, the bartenders. Everyone was extremely kind. Congratulations!
