Fabulous quiet old castle. Rooms were wonderful. The restaurant was great for dinner and breakfast. The property is nice. Many very old trees. The people who work there were just really nice. Would come back here with out question

The best hotel in the Czech Republic and the staff, grounds, hotel, restaurant and attention to detail are incredible. We stayed for a birthday celebration and the experience was of a really high standard. I can strongly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a five star break away from cities and the hustle of life.

We stayed two nights at the hotel. It is a beautiful hotel that is very pretty and well restored with a couple exceptions. The staff was friendly and professional. We encountered two issues. There is no air conditioning and it was very hot inside the hotel. Thankfully it did cool down a bit at night. Our suite was large and well appointed. The bathroom was large but not very functional. There is absolutely no counter space to put anything on the there is essentially no shower. There is a bathtub with a hand held sprayer but it is hard to use without getting water all over the floor. A simple shower curtain would really help. A huge shout out to Sharka (sp?). She was our server at the restaurant, night and day, and was absolutely terrific. Professional, prompt, kind and funny! All in a very nice stay.

Chateau Heralec was truely beautiful… every detail! The service was great, all staff spoke very well English and was very kind. The food and wine was delicious. A great place to spend the weekend and enjoy wonderful wellness facilities! Hope to be back very soon!

The chateau is pretty much off the beaten path. It is situated in a small village not far from one of the main highways of Czechia. It has been turned into a luxury small hotel and is a great experience. It is for people that like to spend some unwinding time in a quiet place. The restaurant is also quite nice and we enjoyed our breakfasts and dinners there. We stayed two nights while we were between major destinations and really enjoyed. Staff are efficient and very friendly. We are glad we decided to stay here--pretty much based on Trip Advisor reviews.
