Du Lãm Roasters

#vietnamtrip The shop has both indoor and outdoor space, spacious, well-arranged tables and chairs and many power outlets. Simple but modern space, delicious drinks, most of the seats are hard seats so it is suitable for meeting friends for 1 hour. Convenient location, 2 fronts with gardens so there is a lot of natural light. Suggestion is that the Roastery shop staff should know a little about coffee knowledge so that when customers ask what beans they are using, they can answer. The staff is friendly, quick and attentive to customers. Delicious drinks, fragrant and smooth matcha combined with fragrant and fatty coconut milk. Plus point is that there is filtered water for customers. Parking is right next to the shop and there is a very friendly security guard. 362/3 Ung Van Khiem, Ward 25, Binh Thanh, Ho Chi Minh 700000, Vietnam

#vietnamtrip Nice and cozy place for coffee, especially for coffee enthusiasts. The staff is great, the owner is amazing as we got to chat with her - sharing her experiences and knowledge. A must visit if you are into specialty coffee or just wanting a coffee fix. They have amazing croissants as well which pairs well with the coffee. Highly recommended! Will be visiting more often.

Vietnamese restaurant recommendations

During my days in Ho Chi Minh City, besides discovering many beautiful cafes, I also found that a small amount of money can get you quality meals. Let me introduce you to District 2 - the expat residential area. Upon the landlord's recommendation, we went to District 2 for a meal one day and absolutely loved it. Next time you come, you might want to stay in District 1 but come to District 2 for a cozy atmosphere. The Deck Saigon A French restaurant near the riverside that makes you want to take out your phone and start snapping pictures as soon as you walk in. The white, simple, and upscale design makes you feel like your plastic bag has turned into Hermès. I believe it must have a romantic ambiance in the evening. Seats near the window offer a direct view of the river (although the river might not be exceptionally beautiful 😂). Mad House Perfect for lazily sipping cocktails with little umbrellas under the warm sunshine. The outdoor seating is really stylish. It's really hard to leave once you're there. If you have the chance, definitely take a stroll in District 2!

Lava Coffee

#vietnamtrip Different from crowded, noisy shops. Hidden on Pham Huy Thong road, a small, cute and warm space that will attract those who need tranquility. Lava coat on me warm brown tone, dominating concept of galaxies, planets. Elegant and interesting at the same time. Drinks + price: reasonable, over 30k. The other day I ordered 1 Butterfly Jasmine Tea 55k (dark tea taste if anyone who likes tea is more than my friend, it feels a bit difficult to drink, there is a thick cream cheese layer) 8/10 + 1 Cake flan 39k (cake layer on top The chocolate cake layer is quite delicious, the flan cake is quite fat on the bottom ) 8/10 . The shop sells more sweets: Tiramisu, Flan gato, Red Velvet, Croissant Location: 59 Pham Huy Thong, ward 7, Go Vap.

District Eight

#vietnamtrip cool showroom, minimalism and stuff and definitely cheaper than Thai Cong's, but the coffee is mid. 5 for their showroom (didn't buy anything but it has a cool vibe to it) had a shot of espresso with macchiato froth, basic blend prolly too Arabica-centric (I was hoping for some local Robusta fruity note). This would go better with milk-based drink such as latte, cappuccino, flatwhite and of course Viet milk coffee should be superb. The location is superb can be a good pitstop for furniture viewing but not totally sure if you want a good coffee for the day. Address: 33 Dong Khoi, Ben Nghe, District 1, Ho Chi Minh 70000, Vietnam

O Plant-Based

#vietnamtrip 06:30 - 22:30 Price : 35K - 75K Address : 36 10th St, P. Thao Dien, City. Thu Duc, HCM Small courtyard with vegetarian menu Opening the new year is so chill with a new cafe, rather a very green courtyard. 6° The shop in Thao Dien is already the 5th branch - the newest branch of O Plant-Based so if you are a devotee of vegan dishes, you must have heard about it This branch is just a small yard, but I was very interested in visiting because of a very green space, every corner has various types of plants, with natural light and minimalist interior, creating a feeling of peace, relaxation and separating from the outside noisy space. về According to my research, the shop specializes in dishes, each type of vegetables, cereals and spices from reliable sources, guaranteed non-GMO, no toxic chemicals. Commitment to reducing plastic waste and using environmentally friendly products. • However, because I stopped by in the morning, I only had time to sip a cup of coffee and 'chill' in this courtyard area. But the coffee tastes strange, quite interesting.

Boho cafe

The pastrie, desserts, and mocktails were sublime! Definitely will visit again. Though do take note that they're usually busy and seatings are limited. But it was such a refreshing find. I was initially hesitant because i don't like paying for just the decor or fancy interiors. But this place knew what they were doing. The kitchen staff is solid and who ever runs the show, does give quality of things importance. We ate here a couple of times and it quickly became one of our favourite places to eat in ho chi minh city. #vietnamtrip #travel #staycation

Poet Tea Coffee & Flower

#vietnamtrip Just another cute cafe in the middle of saigon’s district 1. The cafe is quite small and get very crowded in the weekends. I had the pink grapefruit pomelo tea and it was mid, nothing special. The tofu milktea was terrible though. Decorations were nice, especially during moon festival! Will return for the photos and the vibes, not the drinks. Price is okay, around 85-100k/ drink. overall recommended.

#vietnamtrip minimal style with main gray tone, spacious and airy space. There is a sitting area in the yard and ground floor only, free parking - in front of the shop, there is a guard. Price: reasonable, over 35k. The day I went in the morning, the shop only served filtered black coffee for 35k (OK) Staff: 9/10, the security guard is extremely friendly and enthusiastic. He also knows how to communicate in English with all the people living around there.
