Interesting underground space
Andalucia Tour ~ Huelva (Region)
The gallery is 2,130 meters long, of which 1,200 meters are accessible for viewing. It’s a very beautiful and amazing underground space because of its length, the vast lake, the various formations, etc. The first historical mention of Las Maravillas Grotto dates back to 1850.
In this diving cave, there are many formations - stalactites and stalagmites create beautiful rooms. Some of the most important include: Los Brillantes, Gran Lago and Los Desnudos, but also Las Conchas, Esmeralda and Cristalería de Dios.

Typical Andalusian village
Andalucia Tour ~ Huelva (Region)
Aracena is located in the northern part of the Huelva province, within the Sierra de Aracena and Pico de Aroche mountain ranges.
Architecturally this is a typical Andalusian village, with white houses contrasting against the green landscape of the mountains. Its town center (an official cultural property) and the Gruta de las Maravillas caves are its main tourist attractions. The Gruta de las Maravillas (Grotto of the Maravillas) is one of the largest caves in Spain and is very beautiful inside. It includes twelve underground chambers, six lakes, and countless stalactites and stalagmites.
Aracena's architectural heritage is known for its fortifications, such as its castle, and the Church of Our Lady of Dolo Mayor. There is also an interesting outdoor contemporary art museum.

Exploring the Maravilla Caves: Deep blue ice deep into the cave
In Aracena, Spain, there is a mysterious natural wonder hidden - the Gruta de Las Maravillas Caves. This stunning cave is 110 meters (about 360 feet) deep, with vast spaces and huge domes towering into the clouds, especially known for its magnificent stalactites and asparagus, which are like an art painting of nature.
The colorful and mottled stones shined fantastically under the light, and stalactites of various shapes have been sealed here for hundreds of years. You can also see the hidden pond underground, the water surface is like a mirror, reflecting the white snow of stalactites, it feels very fantastic!
🔖 Tips: The ground in the cave is not flat and very dark, remember to wear slip-resistant shoes and bring a mobile phone for lighting!
