#CheckinPuLuong #CheckinVietNam Review Pu Luong (Thanh Hoa) 2 days 1 night This time I went on vacation so it's not suitable for people who like to explore a lot. 💰 Cost: about 1,500,000 VND/person I've heard about Pu Luong for a long time but this is the first time I've been there. Since the beginning of summer, I've been to the beach 3 times so I decided to go to the mountains in June for a change. 🚘 Departing from Hanoi to the resort gate is a 4-hour car ride. I left at 7:30 and arrived around 11:30. I sat down for a bit and then checked in. We rented a private car for convenience because there was a baby in the group, and you can book a Limousine to get there (500-600K/round trip, super convenient) 📍I booked a room at Pu Luong Bocbandi Retreat during the promotion period, so the price was cheap, only 888K/person/night with free breakfast and dinner (I think this deal is quite good). *Plus points: This place just opened, so all the furniture is new and beautiful; all the staff have the same welcoming and service manner as 5-star hotels/resorts; the food suits my taste *Minus points: the restaurant is built on a high place, so walking up makes my legs tired and I almost faint (and because I haven't recovered from a few trips, I'm a bit lazy to walk); the buffet at the restaurant is not very diverse. In the mountainous area with lots of trees and grass, the mosquitoes are quite big, but don't worry because every room has a mosquito net =)) It's been a long time since I had to sleep with a mosquito net, but it's beautiful and looks quite noble =)) On Saturday night, I was there, there was a campfire, xoe dance, and bamboo dance, it was very fun, I saw some people praising the rice wine but I was afraid of getting drunk so I didn't drink (this is free) ⏰ At 12 noon the next day, we checked out and ordered food at the restaurant in Pu Luong Bocbandi, but we ordered a la carte instead of having a buffet, the rice and soup were simple and delicious, about 150K/person. ✅ The place I stayed had a view of the mountains on one side and green terraced fields on the other, so I felt very peaceful and quiet, but if I stayed there for a long time, about 3 days and 2 nights, I wouldn't know what to do. The local market seemed far away, so I don't think there's much to explore. Those who are there or have unique itineraries can give me more opinions.

EXPERIENCE OF TRAVELING ON YOUR OWN TO PU LUONG | THANH HOA ⛰️ ☁️ Pu Luong is often given the beautiful name of Little Bali (I have not been to Bali so I don't know). For me, the wild and peaceful beauty here is very suitable for those who want to immerse themselves in the mountains and forests to breathe fresh air without having to go to the remote Northwest regions. 🛵 There are 2 ways to get to Pu Luong: by motorbike or by car. I chose to travel by motorbike from Hanoi because I wanted to feel the beauty on every stretch of road, but it will be quite tiring if you are not used to traveling long distances (because the total time I traveled was about 5 hours). 📍This time I went to Pu Luong for a short time, so I mainly just went to take pictures of rice fields and hunt clouds, not having time to explore further. You can also refer to these destinations: - Ban Don - Suoi Cham - Thac Hieu - Pu Luong Waterwheel - Ban Son - Ba - Muoi - Pu Luong Heaven Gate - Ban Kho Muong 💸 Cost: Dinner + lunch: 2 million/4 people Accommodation: Pu Luong Ecologe 250k/person (staying in a stilt house) Gas: 200k/car Additional costs: 500k/4 people 🗒️ Note: - In Pu Luong, there are some small roads that are difficult for cars to enter, so you need to check the map carefully first. - Because this is a conservation area, food prices will be more expensive than usual, so you should ask in advance. - The points are about 10km - 20km apart, so traveling is quite time-consuming. Growing up in Vietnamese land but the beauty of this country’s scenery never ceases to amaze me 🌾🌾🌾 There are many provinces with rice paddle fields across the country, especially in the North where mountains make magnificent rice fields. This was the second time I went to Puluong, just in time for the peak of harvesting - 6 October 2024. The peak time for ripened rice only lasts for 1-2 weeks before everything turns into rotten brown roots so make sure you plan well, preferably keep in contact with the local homestay for the right timing. Highly recommend Puluong Natura for great location (right next to vast rice fields) and Ciel de Puluong for amazing food, new facilities, beautiful decoration and warm hospitality. Waking up early and wandering around the area is a must! From #Hanoi, take a minibus for two hours to reach #Meizhou #maichau Get away from the city and head into the mountains of #Vietnam. The temperature is much cooler, and the guesthouse is in the middle of the rice fields. The rice seedlings were not planted in February, so it would be more beautiful if the whole area were green in April or May. The main activity in Mai Chau is cycling through the rice fields. There are no convenience stores, no high-end restaurants, Meals can only be cooked by the guesthouse host. It’s also a new experience to be able to taste real Vietnamese farm food! Pu Luong Nature Reserve is nearby Mai Chau After the beginning of spring, farmers are busy turning the soil. I was lucky enough to see the rice fields that had just been planted. Obviously technology has advanced. But Vietnamese farmers still retain the old farming methods. I spent some time studying the operation of the waterwheel. Pu Luong terraced fields is located at Ba Thuoc district, 200 kilometres from Hanoi. From Hanoi, you can get to Pu Luong by nearly 150 kilometres of national highway 6 and 15C on bus, car or motorbike. On the way to Pu Luong you can visit Cuc Phuong national park which is one of the oldest national park in Vietnam. There are two times to explore the best of Pu Luong: from late May to early June and the harvesting time between September and October. There are many places to visit in Pu Luong. Nua village, the Thai ethnic village, May waterfall, Hieu village… You can taste the fresh and delicious indigenous dishes of the Thai ethnic people, such as Co Lung duck, chicken, fish, bamboo shoots, roasted pig. Visitors also can conquer Pu Luong peak, which sits at the height of 1,700 metres above sea level. Check-in the peak and see the sunrise is unforgottable memories.
