Grundtvig’s Church, located in the Bispebjerg district of Copenhagen, is an outstanding architectural masterpiece that blends Expressionism with inspiration from medieval churches and Gothic style. The church is constructed from over 6 million yellow bricks, featuring a striking 49-meter-high tower and window arches resembling giant organ pipes. If you want that classic Copenhagen postcard shot, this is the place to be 🙌 📍Nyhavn, 1051 Copenhagen, Denmark We also made our way to The Round Tower, one of Copenhagen’s most unique architectural gems 💎 The spiral walkway leading to the top is a great photo spot itself, but the real magic happens once you reach the viewing platform. The panoramic city views are especially stunning in the late morning when the sunlight ✨ enhances the red rooftops of the old town. 📍Købmagergade 52A, 1150 Copenhagen, Denmark We then visited Christiansborg Palace, which is not only a royal landmark but also a fantastic place for photography 📸 The Royal Reception Rooms and the grand halls are worth capturing, but our favorite spot was the tower. Around midday, the lighting is perfect for taking clear, sharp shots of the city skyline ✨ Plus, it’s free to visit the tower, so we highly recommend it 💯 📍Prins Jørgens Gård 1, 1218 Copenhagen, Denmark No trip to Copenhagen is complete without seeing The Little Mermaid 🧜♀️ statue. The picturesque canal lined with colorful buildings is something you’ve probably seen in many photos 📸 but nothing compares to experiencing it in person. Early morning ☀️ is the best time to capture the reflections of the vibrant houses in the calm waters before the crowds arrive. I loved walking along the canal, snapping pictures of the boats and the charming architecture 🙌 From there, I walked to Amalienborg Palace, the residence of the Danish royal family. The square is grand, and the changing of the guard ceremony happens daily, which was a perfect moment to photograph 📸 the palace and the guards in their traditional uniforms 💯 📍Amalienborg Palace – Amalienborg, 1257 København K, Denmark I then headed to one of Copenhagen’s most famous landmarks, the Little Mermaid 🧜♀️ statue. It was a bit crowded, but I still managed to take some great photos from different angles. I recommend capturing it from the side or with the water as a backdrop for a more dynamic shot 📸 From there, I explored Kastellet, a star-shaped fortress just a short walk away. The grounds are peaceful, with lush greenery, old military buildings, and a windmill. It’s a quiet, serene place, perfect for getting shots of historic architecture and nature. I spent some time walking through King’s Garden, which offers great views of the castle, with beautiful flowers and trees framing the scene. The early morning light ✨ hitting the castle’s towers created a magical atmosphere, perfect for capturing both the grandeur of the building and the lush surroundings 🙌 📍Rosenborg Castle – Øster Voldgade 4A, 1350 København, Denmark I also visited Frederiksberg Gardens, a large park with beautifully landscaped grounds, fountains ⛲️ and a serene lake.
