Wat Khung Tha Lao, a temple with magnificent sculptures, features a giant Hanuman. Location: Wat Khung Tha Lao, Bang Phueng Subdistrict, Ban Mi District, Lopburi Province. It is a temple where a great monk, Luang Pho Phian, is highly respected by many people. It is considered one of the most important temples in Lopburi Province. Although this temple is not located in the city, the power of faith of Buddhists who flow to Wat Koen Kathin is great. They all come with joy and want to admire Luang Pho Phian's charisma. They donate money, worship sacred objects that Luang Pho has blessed, make merit, worship Buddha, apply gold leaf to Luang Pho Pan, and pay respect to Luang Pho. Pay homage to Phra Phuttha Katanyu at Wat Koen Kathin
Wat Koen Kathin is another famous temple located in Ban Chi Subdistrict, Ban Mi District, Lopburi Province. There is no clear evidence indicating the year this temple was built, but locals know that it has been part of the village for a long time. In the past, there was a revered Buddha statue that the villagers highly respected. Today, it has become the residence of a renowned monk in Lopburi Province. When Luang Pho Pian Akkathammo, the monk residing at this temple, and the villagers named this Buddha statue 'Luang Pho Pan,' it was to honor the Cambodian monk who was Luang Pho Pian's teacher. Initially, the temple only had an old Thai-style pavilion. As Luang Pho Pian gained fame as a renowned monk, he developed the temple further by constructing many permanent structures, including the sermon hall, ordination hall, vihara, and monks' quarters. Today, Wat Koen Kathin has become an important and famous temple in Lopburi, attracting tourists and devotees who come to pay homage to Luang Pho Pan and Luang Pho Pian.

On top, there are many footprints of the Lord Buddha.
You can build a beautiful church and castle like this. The inside of the castle is incredibly beautiful.
It's still difficult to walk up. Oh my!
⛰️ Let's start with the walking point (10:20-11:00)
Mint must say that she has never walked up a mountain before.
Others may think it's a small thing.
But for me, it's very challenging. With this round body.
On the way up, there were both Dharma words along the way and encouragement along the way. In the very hot weather of 41 degrees ++
The stairs are steep. At the end, that part was when I had no energy to breathe. I was very tired. I couldn't hold onto the handrail because it was so hot that my hands were scalded. Plus, my legs were shaking. So there were very few pictures along the way. I really couldn't take any. It took Min about 40 minutes to walk up, stopping along the way.

Address: Ban Chi Subdistrict, Ban Mi District, Lop Buri Province, Thailand 🇹🇭
Wat Kroen Ka Thin is an old and beautiful temple. There is no evidence of when it was built. However, the villagers know that this temple has been with this village for a long time. The abbot, Luang Pho Phian Akkathammo, is the famous monk. He started building the temple from Wat Thung Klang Na. He continued to develop it with the faith of his disciples who respected and believed in him. There is Luang Pho Pan enshrined in the beautiful glass chapel and the relics of the Lord Buddha enshrined in the pagoda with beautiful architecture. The place is peaceful, shady, clean, and spacious. It is worth going to pay homage and ask for blessings to enhance your own and your family's auspiciousness.

🕔 Min went up and didn't encounter any monkeys.
If you go up, here's what I recommend:
🌱All doors can be opened. When you come out, don't forget to lock them to prevent monkeys from entering.
🌱Bring 2 bottles of water, 1 bottle for drinking and 1 bottle for paying homage to the lingam.
🌱 Min brought 2 fans, which helped a lot.
🌱Menstruating women are not allowed inside.
