I participated in the "Cultural Heritage and Fashion · Hollywood Road" event. Due to the large number of activities and the large number of visitors, it was difficult to appreciate them in detail. Once BC pass immigration clearance take B5 to go Sunny Bay then take MTR to reach Central. It’s was quite new and nice experience. This is the fourth time that Waffles has visited the Sai Ying Pun branch of Jiu Ki Izakaya. The lunch set at Jiuki Izakaya starts from NT$78. I have tried the waffles in the past, such as the Gillette pork chop and the grilled chicken drumstick, and were very satisfied with them. This time I decided to try something else. The set meal comes with salad (optional appetizer), steamed egg custard and miso soup. The salad is very fresh and the sour sauce is very appetizing. The miso soup was flavourful but not salty. The chawanmushi has chicken, crab sticks, mushrooms and ginkgo nuts, and the chicken is particularly delicious. I ordered the seared mullet and scallop rice bowl ($168), which was served with seaweed, sesame seeds, garlic and soy sauce.
