The hot spring that Yamate Hotel is proud of is a smooth natural hot spring known as "the hot spring that makes Akita's skin beautiful." There are indoor and open-air baths. The open-air bath is surrounded by forest trees. It is quite pleasant to soak in the hot spring while looking at the beautiful scenery. There are only ten room types, and we stayed in the "Taman" room, which is a Japanese-style tatami bed room. When you open the Japanese paper windows, you can enjoy the forest view. Each room is independent and will not be disturbed by the next door. It also has an independent balcony. The accommodation plan is one night and two meals. The meal is exquisite hot spring kaiseki cuisine. Each dish may seem small, but you will feel full after eating all of them. After the meal, you can end with a cup of coffee, which is really enjoyable. The price is not as expensive as you might think. It only costs NT$3,600 per person including two meals. It is really a bargain and even cheaper than Oirase Hoshino!
