Both are recommended. If you're short on time, take the ropeway; if you're on a budget, take the bus.) -> Dinner: Shinano (It was crowded in the evening, so there was a wait.) Day 3: Lunch: Lucky Pierrot (A hamburger chain unique to Hakodate. Worth trying for the experience, but the taste was just average. I had high expectations due to many positive reviews, but it didn't quite meet them.) -> Goryokaku Tower & Park -> Pan Espoir & Donguri (A bakery with truly delicious bread.) -> Took an overnight bus back to Sapporo -> Accommodation: Teyatel Sapporo Susukino (Recommended for solo travelers. I went on April 23, and since Sapporo's cherry blossom season is usually in late April, I was able to see cherry blossoms🌸 If you're unsure where to go in Japan, I highly recommend Hakodate👍 To save on costs, I used overnight buses to cut down on accommodation and transportation expenses, but you can also travel faster and more comfortably by subway🫶

I sat beside it and quietly watched the flowers. There happened to be a breeze, and a gust of cherry blossoms floated down. The shadows of the trees were reflected on the water surface. The whole scene was super dreamy, and I couldn't stop taking pictures with my phone. Unlike cherry blossom viewing in the city, Hakodate Park has the gentle feeling of an old place, without any rush or rush. Even the number of tourists is less than I expected, so the pace of flower viewing is just right. After admiring the flowers, I also made a special detour to Hachimanzaka. This street is truly worthy of being the most famous street in Hakodate. Looking down is the port. The entire straight street is dotted with cherry blossoms on both sides, giving it a composition that feels like something out of a movie scene. On my first day in Hakodate, I found a uni specialty store "うにむらかみ Hakodate Ekimae Store" without hesitation and had a big feast. I didn't expect the restaurant to be so busy that I had to wait for an hour for a table! We were so hungry that we ordered rice bowls as soon as we sat down. The highest grade purple sea urchin, sea urchin and beef combo, sea urchin tamagoyaki, and sea urchin chawanmushi. The whole table was filled with sea urchin. It was so satisfying!
