This time we arrived at around 1pm during lunch time on a weekday and had to wait about half an hour to get a table. I always come here to eat their "Butter Fried Fish Set", and this time is no exception. If you order the "Butter Fried Fish Set", the price will be based on the fish you order. You can choose on the small blackboard. By the time we got a seat, there was only one last item of whole fish left, which cost about 2,000 yen. First came the appetizers, which included seared sashimi and sashimi salad. The sauce was appetizing and the sashimi was fresh. Driving south from Naha... I thought there was nothing there... But then I saw a sign for "Gushikawa Castle Ruins." Curious to see what it was like, I headed there, only to find a thicket of grass. I walked along the road for a few dozen meters, and an indescribable view appeared before my eyes!! It was a disappointment, as it would have been refreshing if the weather had been better... but it looked amazing!! It was a spot of rough waves (?) that made me forget that I was in a tropical country. Needless to say, I wanted to scream, "Woooooooooooo!!" lol #BreathtakingView

1. Former Japanese Navy Underground Headquarters Address - 236 Tomigusuku, Okinawa 901-0241 Highlights - Very inexpensive museum but it is very rich in history and education. Highly recommend to visit to learn about what happened at the bloodiest battle in WW2. Rating - N/A 2. Peace Memorial Park Address - 444 Mabuni, Itoman, Okinawa 901-0333 Highlights - Vast and tranquil park that commemorates the Battle of Okinawa. It is a great place to walk around and feel like you are at a different place. Rating - N/A 3. Maeda Escarpment (Hacksaw Ridge Address - 2 Chome-53 Nakama, Urasoe, Okinawa 901-2103 Highlights - Another calm and beautiful place to explore. Similar vibe to the other historical place mentioned above. You can see the view of Urasoe area as well! Rating - N/A
