Though it was just a 1-night, 2-day trip, the Phi Phi Island tour made it truly worthwhile. Day 1: Phi Phi Island Tour – A Day Spent on the Blue Sea Early in the morning, I was picked up from the hotel and taken to the pier! After a quick snack and briefing, we boarded a speedboat to officially start the Phi Phi Island tour. Tour Highlights: Maya Bay Famous as the filming location of the movie 'The Beach'! Though the landing was brief, the emerald sea and white sandy beach were stunning. It’s impossible not to take photos. Lo Sama Bay & Pileh Lagoon Admiring the sea views from the boat! Snorkeling in the clear waters, colorful fish came right up close. Even if you can’t swim, wearing a life jacket makes it easy. Monkey Beach There were actual monkeys near the rocks and beach! Observing them cautiously from the boat was fascinating. They’re cute but wild, so getting too close is risky. Lunch at Phi Phi Don Island Buffet-style local food that was quite enjoyable. The restaurant was right by the beach, offering great views! The fruits were especially delicious. By afternoon, we returned to Phuket, checked into the hotel, and headed to Patong Street for dinner. I was amazed by the natural scenery and took a lot of great photos. I took a boat ride around the island and also enjoyed kayaking and snorkeling. After sailing on the clear sea and looking around the island, I arrived at a quiet lagoon and explored the cliffs by paddling the kayak myself. The water was calm, so even beginners could enjoy it safely, and the natural scenery that unfolded before my eyes was truly overwhelming. Afterwards, I anchored at the snorkeling point and was able to observe the tropical fish and corals in the transparent sea up close. The water visibility was clear and warm, so I was able to enjoy playing in the water for a long time comfortably. It was the moment when I could feel the charm of Phi Phi Island up close. Rent a long-tail boat and cruise through the various small bays. The cliffs of Maya Bay and the turquoise waters complement each other perfectly. It's the filming location of the movie *The Beach*, and the atmosphere is amazing. 🌴 Emerald Pool: Known as the "Jiuzhaigou of Thailand," the emerald green pool is surrounded by lush tropical rainforest.
