📍Amalfi Coast, Italy ⭐️A UNESCO World Heritage Site ⭐️Rated by the BBC as one of the 50 places you must visit in your lifetime On this trip to southern Italy, I visited the most popular lemon town on the Amalfi Coast - 🍋 Positano It's like a dream: when you're there, it doesn't seem so real; when you leave, it becomes vivid. 🚍[Public Transport] 1️⃣From Naples Central Station, take the Circumvesuviana train to Sorrento. Ticket price: €4.6 (one way) 2️⃣Get off at Sorrento Station, and buy a bus ticket to Positano at the convenience store next door, i.e. SITA BUS (see photo 10). Ticket price: €2.4 (one way), the journey takes about half an hour, and the view is better on the right side of the bus. ❣️TIPS: 💛I stayed in Naples, so I traveled to and from the surrounding cities on the same day. Buy a round-trip train ticket in advance in Naples. 💛If you are going to Positano and not staying in the town, remember to buy a round-trip bus ticket in Sorrento. The town is small, and tickets often sell out during peak season, so you don't want to miss your return trip. 💛You can also buy a bus ticket to Amalfi directly from SITA BUS and travel counterclockwise. First to Amalfi (about 1 hour), then back to Positano, and finally back to Sorrento. 💛The whole journey is a winding mountain road with cliff views, so remember to prepare motion sickness medicine in advance. 💛In addition to taking the bus to each town, you can also choose to travel by boat during peak season, which is a better experience than the bus. 🍋[Recommended Spots] 🟡Bus stop (via cristoforo colombo 175) This is the most popular photo spot on Instagram and the filming location for the movie "Under the Tuscan Sun." I stood under the bougainvillea hedge, gazing out at the Mediterranean Sea, admiring the steep terrain, the rainbow-colored houses built on the hills, the sea breeze blowing gently, swaying with a thousand charms, unchanged for a thousand years, still charming! 🟡Spiaggia Grande This is known as the most beautiful beach in Europe. Located in the bay, surrounded by colorful houses, it is a sight to behold and is the most common scenery in postcards and painters' oil paintings. 🟡Chiesa di Santa Maria Assunta It is the landmark of the town, with its exterior walls painted in milky yellow and its colorful ceramic dome, making it the most dazzling building in the town. Many locals hold their weddings here. 🍋In summer, lemon trees can be seen everywhere in the town. In winter, lemons are rare, with only a few scattered around. Most of the shops are closed. I couldn't find the fruit stand I was hoping to take a photo with. But at least I got an undisturbed private experience.

Positano, the famous vertical town part of the Amalfi Coast is a dream destination for many🌅 I loved it because it turned our beach vacation into an interesting trip! 💛 We got there by ferry boat and stayed there for the rest of the day. Unfortunately the costs of hotels and restaurants are high in this area so many tourists come and go in a one day trip☀️ Roads are usually very busy and ferry boats ride are much more convinient also to go visit the rest of the towns on the Amalfi Coast ⛴ Seen from the sea it looks spectacular with all the colourful houses. Positano is one of the many coastal towns that dot the Amalfi Coast. It is easily accessible via bus and train from Naples and can be done in a day trip. The town is perched on the hills that overlook the magnificent sea. As such even upon entering the town, you are greeted with the lovely turquoise color of the sea contrasted against the different colorful houses that line the cliffs. There's a beach at the bottom of the town and I can imagine it will get crowded during the summer months. Like mentioned before, the sea is in different shades of turquoise that change with the light. It's truly a sight you will never forget. It's fun to stroll around the town and get lost in the winding streets leading down to the coast. There are also several restaurants but I found them to be quite catered to tourists, so nothing that is truly unforgettable as for dining here. Nevertheless, a must visit if you're in Naples and can spare a day to visit this cute seaside town. I promise you won't regret it!

I traveled around Southern Italy in May ✈️ The place I wanted to go to the most was #Positano! The scenery was so amazing that I was happy the whole time I was there 🥹 The sea and the town were sparkling... Also, the pottery that is famous in Southern Italy The lemon-patterned souvenirs were super cute And walking around the town was fun! ✏️Tips Positano itself is large enough that you can easily get around in 2-3 hours It's a high-end resort, and the hotels are too expensive to stay in, so it's a day trip 🙆♀️ It takes about 1 hour and 45 minutes by direct Speedjet from Naples (seems to only operate in summer) The boat is smooth without traffic jams, but it does rock, so be careful of seasickness You can also go by car, but apparently the traffic jams are terrible in summer... Also, prices are high, so if you want to buy souvenirs, the neighboring town of Amalfi is definitely better! . .
