This was an amazing trip…took us about 2 hours to drive there. One can also take a didi which is cheap too from Shanghai. Qidong is very serene,not much happening there apart from the beach 🏖 life. It met my expectations,a mini Sanya close by (I would like to call it). There were many water activities by the beach which makes the surroundings even more pleasing. There are some random shops at the resort too,which you can buy some snacks. The one day we went for brunch at one of the hotels near the beach and they had some western food which was good. We stayed at a Villa hotel nearby, which are very common and easy to get, around the place. This hotel is a simple resort hotel. Each room has a hot spring bath ♨️. Qidong Joyze Hotel Hot Spring (Qitangcheng Branch) Butler service hotel, this place can satisfy fishing enthusiasts, is pet-friendly, and is great for family trips with Hanfu photos. I brought my dog, and the photographer made a special trip to my room to take photos with my dog. But I have to say that their highlight is an inconspicuous spa. There is only one technician here, and you need to make an appointment with the butler in advance, but the service is quite in place. Hotel guests can get a 50% discount, so the price is still acceptable. The only drawback is that the water is limited. A room can only add up to five more bottles, which is a bit small for those who love to drink tea… There are very few places to eat around, so you need to drive out. The commercial street opposite has not been built up. Opposite the hotel is Qitangcheng. There will be large-scale fireworks on May 1...
