2025 Sunday Walking Street Travel Guide: Must-see attractions, popular food, hotels, transportation routes (updated in July)

Don't confuse it with the night market. It's very local and there are lots of people. They were also selling grilled quail, which I only heard about when I was young. It was 30 baht. Haha.

Definitely the biggest night market I have ever visited so far. This night market is opened every Sunday inside old town. There are a lot of food vendors selling so many foods. A lot of store selling clothes and souvenirs as well. I spend about 1:30min to walk to the whole market. It was great experiences. Food are delicious and stuff are cheap. I got Khao Soi for only 55baht. They have a places for us to sit and enjoy the food. The market is well organised and prepare. This time in Chiang Mai, I stayed at 2 hotels: 1. Bed Changkian is as good as ever. Small hotel The staff are lovely, the breakfast is small but delicious, there is fresh orange juice, drinking water that you can pick up anytime, and there is also a cat to serve you. This is the second time I have stayed here. 2. Eastin Tan Chiangmai The first time I tried staying here, it is convenient to travel, located in the middle of the intersection, opposite the Maya shopping mall, convenient shopping. The hotel has a swimming pool, fitness center, and a good view of the swimming pool. The breakfast buffet has a very delicious Khao Soi menu. The receptionists are lovely, willing and good, take good care of you. The room is humid, the wardrobe smells musty, asking the maid to spray it doesn't help. The foot towels and face towels are quite old, they should really be changed. 3. Go to Jing Jai Market on Sunday, there are lots of food and shopping items, mostly crafts and handicrafts. The price may be high, but there are a lot of tourists. 4. Walking street, unfortunately it rained, so many shops were closed, but it was still fun to walk around because it was drizzling and there was a lot of walking. 5. I also stopped by Wat Phalat, it is beautiful and peaceful, very suitable for meditation. 6. Chang Moi Road, where there are a lot of woven goods for sale, everything is beautiful, worth buying everything. Not too expensive, take beautiful pictures 7. Market in front of CMU, lots of food, behind the university, even more delicious, Suki QQ is also delicious Smoothies from Phi Praew's shop are great, not too expensive, and closes at 2:30 AM 8. Delicious fried egg shop, as delicious as ever, milk tea the best 9. Before going back to Bangkok, stop by Central Airport Shop, there are a lot of discounts, and I ended up getting 2 pairs of Puma shoes and 2 pairs of Adidas, it's crazy. The mall is currently being renovated, so it might not be very convenient, but it's okay. The market downstairs has delicious food and is not too expensive. There are a lot of things to see and eat, but you have to be prepared to get hit by people on the way there and back
