The first two days, we walked around taking pictures 📸 and playing in Shanghai. The weather was cold ❄️ and the wind was strong 🌬️. It's a city that feels very Hi-tech and Cashless society. In the morning, we accidentally met 2 robots 🤖 walking around. Wow, it's like in the movies. Today, we traveled out of the city 🧳 to the Valley of Angels 😇 Wangxian Valley ⛰️✨, an ancient village that is a 4A tourist attraction in China 🇨🇳 Traveling in China is quite convenient... 🛤️ 🪭Early in the morning🌞 We left the JI hotel near The Bund and took the Metro for about 40 minutes. 🪭 To get on the Hi-speed train, you can book through Trip.com. It's very convenient 🚅 at Shanghai Hongqiao Station and sit for about 3 hours. 💺 Plus, we went one station later. Add another 1 hour! 🥹 The staff are very cute 👮🏻 Everyone is very helpful. Very impressive ❤️ 🪭When we arrived at Shangrao Station, we called Didi 🚖 and rode for another 1 hour to check in at Xiansu Hotel 🏨, which is located in the Valley of Angels. We arrived at the hotel at around 4 pm. 🌤️ ⛰️✨ We packed up our stuff at the hotel and went out to find something to eat 🍢 and took some pictures. The light was beautiful 📸 and there were a lot of people. ☀️Early in the morning, we went out to take pictures. It was great! No people. So cool. We went back to Shanghai. Most bagels are dense, so I'm not really into them. They're not very milky or buttery. LOL But when I walked past and smelled it and there were a lot of people, I decided to give it a try. If I couldn't decide, I'd just go with the one that says "Top 1", something like wagyu beef. It's sooo delicious. Oh my gosh, it's so delicious. While I'm typing this, I'm swallowing my saliva and wanting to eat it again. 🥟 Yang's Dumpling, the pork xiao long bao is sooo delicious. The dough is soft on top and crispy on the bottom. The soup is so delicious. There are many branches. I've eaten there many times. Whenever there's a long line, Yang will always finish it. LOL 🧀 Holiland, a popular bakery shop for Thai souvenirs. Their cheesecakes are great. The packaging is beautiful and delicious. It's perfect for buying on your way back. As for me, I went on the wrong day and returned 2 days later. I ate by myself. I have to thank Admin Oh for the advice. 💸 Huaihai This is my favorite shopping area. It's really a disaster. 5555 There are many shops to walk around: Songmont, HUMAN MADE, TAMBURINS, Gentle Monster, Niko and.. 📱 My favorite apps that I use are Alipay, Amap, Dianping, TrueMoney 🩷 Cashless, which is sincere and I don't use a single yuan in cash. I love Mala. Luckily, I only found clean restrooms. I understand that they are trying to relieve the pain by having many places that have automatic systems. I fell in love with Shanghai. This trip was great. The lights were beautiful both day and night. The food was delicious. The transportation was convenient. The price was impressive. Let's review our Shanghai trip that we went to earlier this year. We flew on December 31st and returned on January 5th, for a total of 6 days and 5 nights. This was a trip that we prepared for quite some time in advance. The weather was very cold. We wore Heattech and a coat, which was enough, but our hands were not good at all. Even with gloves, we were still cold. I recommend buying a heat pack, which makes life much easier. Most places in Shanghai don't require cash exchange. We exchanged money and didn't use it at any store. All stores used Alipay, which was very easy to spend. There were 4 of us on our trip, so we only used DiDi because it was very cheap. It was a long layover but short for a vacation. Anyway, I decided to go for a quick walk around to experience a day and a night in Shanghai. I had to make the most of my time so I went straight to the heart of the City, Waitan or otherwise known as Bund. The Bund or Waitan is a raised promenade by the waterfront running parallel Huangpo River in area in central Shanghai. The area has some of Shanghai's best architectural treasures, which includes grand, western style buildings built in the late 19th and early 20th century. The buildings feature architectural styles from Neoclassical to Beaux-Arts to Gothic to Baroque forming the popular Shanghai Skyline which glows brighter and more colorful at night. #celebratewithtrip #meetshanghai

I spent a spontaneous weekend in Shanghai and had an amazing two-day adventure! On the first day, I started with a hop-on hop-off bus tour around the city, which was a great way to get a feel for the layout and main attractions. Later, I explored The Bund and Yu Garden—both absolutely worth seeing. At Yu Garden, I had the most delicious xiao long bao (soup dumplings)—definitely a highlight of the trip! That evening, I took a river cruise, which I highly recommend. Seeing the city skyline lit up at night was breathtaking—the lights reflecting off the water made for a magical experience. Getting around the city was surprisingly easy. I used Alipay for all my transport, including metro and taxis, and everything was smooth and convenient. On the second day, I had hoped to visit some museums, but I didn’t realize you need to book tickets at least 7 days in advance. So if you’re planning a visit, make sure to reserve spots early! Overall, it was a short trip, but Shanghai made a big impression. I’d love to go back and explore even more!

📅 Itinerary Day1: Arrived in the late morning via 35 mins bullet train from Suzhou. After check-in into a hotel, we went shopping and had a vegetarian dinner in Super Brand Mall so that we could walk to the Huangpu river for the night view around 7 pm. We strolled along the river for an hour and called for the night. Day2: It was raining heavily so we had no choice but to take the bus tour to go around the city to finish our 2 days stay in Shanghai. I took some hasty snapshots of the city while in the bus. Our Shanghai stay was short and nice. Day3: 🏨 Accommodation 🍴 Food Recommendations For Vegetarian, the best choice is Su Man Xiang. the bund is a very beautiful scenic area in Shanghai. a lot of people visit everyday and it's really beautiful especially in the night time. there are beautiful big towers that glow in the night and the whole city can be seen from the top of tower. i recommend everyone to visit this place in Shanghai
