Every year, I go on a trip to Toba or Ise with my friends. This time, we visited Shinpachiya for the first time... Before heading to the inn, I posted photos of the lush greenery and ocean views from a nearby observatory! The scenery here is breathtaking, and you can enjoy ice cream, parfaits, light snacks, and the soothing sounds of birds. It's truly a relaxing spot♪ When it was time, we headed to Shinpachiya. The surroundings were filled with trees and the sea, and the view from our room was stunning. However, the open-air bath had too many insects, so we couldn't use it. For dinner, the sashimi was delicious, but there was no main dish. There were no Ise lobster, oysters, or boat-style platters, which made it feel overpriced for the cost. It seems the dishes depend on the plan you choose. Although I expected more baths, there were only an indoor bath and an open-air bath, and the latter was unusable due to insects. Other baths at Shinpachiya require a private reservation for an additional 1,500 yen per 45 minutes. If you're looking forward to the hot springs, you should choose a plan with a private bath in the room to avoid disappointment. The scenery was peaceful, with the sound of gentle waves and abundant nature, but there were many mosquitoes. Mosquito spray is essential. I borrowed a lint roller from the front desk to clean up, but there were so many mosquitoes😫💧. I sprayed insect repellent on the windows, and by morning, the windows were covered with mosquitoes, which I wiped off with tissues. Morning baths are available from 6 AM, and I recommend borrowing towels from the front desk. Breakfast was grilled fish, which was tasty, and the rice was all-you-can-eat, which was very satisfying in this day and age.
