2025 Urayasu Travel Guide: Must-see attractions, popular food, hotels, transportation routes (updated in July)

Day 1 - Took an early morning flight ✈️ to Narita Airport, then bought Skyliner tickets to reach Nippori in 40 minutes (should've gone directly to Ueno actually). Switched metro lines 🚇 using Suica card to reach our hotel 🏨 Tokyo Bay Shiomi Prince Hotel. Booked Shibuya Sky - Shibuya Sky 360° Open-Air Observation Deck in advance for evening rooftop photos. The wind was so strong at night that wearing a down jacket didn't seem excessive! Shibuya was packed with young people - couldn't even get into any decent yakiniku restaurant [Cry] Day 2 - Kamakura City, Kanagawa Prefecture took quite long for round trip, and there were way too many people taking photos 📷. We gave up on the Slam Dunk anime spot and found strolling by the seaside watching sunset much more relaxing 😌. Visited Akihabara in the evening but arrived too late to explore much~ Day 3 - Warner Bros. Studio Tour Tokyo - The Making of Harry Potter was somewhat boring, though we took many photos... Tickets were in high demand - sold out when checked one week in advance, so my husband bought resale tickets. Accidentally ended up in Ikebukuro while taking metro at night, finally got 2-3 hours for shopping [Cute][Cute][Cute] (This is the proper way to experience Tokyo!!!) Day 4 - Tokyo Disneyland - Beauty and the Beast lived up to its Top 1 popularity, with 145 minutes wait time [Cry]. But the evening fireworks 🎆 were disappointing 😞 - lasted only 5 minutes, gone just as we got ready to take photos. Day 5 - Tokyo National Museum happened to be open on Monday 🈺️, located in Ueno Park which was on our way to airport... The museum isn't very large, mainly divided into Honkan (Main Gallery), Toyokan (Asian Gallery), Heiseikan and Horyuji Treasure Gallery - can be fully explored in 3 hours. Overall, Kamakura was the highlight with perfect weather allowing us to see Mount Fuji 🗻 wearing its scarf-like clouds in the distance.

We arrived at the park at around 9:40 a.m. - We entered the park at 10:00 a.m. We waited in line for 4-5 people before we could enter. - Once we got in, we pressed the Disney Premier Access (DPA) card first. We chose the Enchanted Tale of Beauty and the Beast ride for 2,000 yen per person. We chose the time slot. 14.05-15.05 It's a ride that we really want to play and don't want to wait in line for a long time. - Already bought DPA. Find a corner to take a photo with the castle next, near the statues of Walt Disney and Mickey Mouse. - 𝙋𝙞𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙚𝙨 𝙤𝙛 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝘾𝙖𝙧𝙞𝙗𝙗𝙚𝙖𝙣 Queue for the first ride. Wait in line for about 30 minutes. If you don't have DPA, you have to wait in line for about 80 minutes. A woman in her 30s queuing to play the carousel. So cute. - 𝙋𝙤𝙤𝙝'𝙨 𝙃𝙪𝙣𝙣𝙮 𝙃𝙪𝙣𝙩 We pressed the 40th ticket. The 6:00 p.m. round. Enter the Priority Access Entrance and scan the QR Code from the app to enter. I think that every scene here is beautifully made. It's a mini-sized boat ride that's so cute. The scenes are so beautiful. It's so enjoyable to watch. You can rest your legs comfortably. Osaka → Kyoto → Tokyo: An Unforgettable Journey My adventure began in Osaka, where I enjoyed the bright lights and delicious street food in Dotonbori. The next day, I explored the historic Osaka Castle, surrounded by beautiful cherry blossoms. On my third day, I had an exciting time at Universal Studios Japan, enjoying thrilling rides and movie magic. On the fourth day, I took a train to Kyoto and explored the grand Kyoto Castle. After that, I wandered through Kyoto’s charming streets, window shopping and soaking in the traditional atmosphere. The next day, I traveled to Tokyo, diving into the city’s vibrant energy. I visited the historic Sensoji Temple, took in the stunning skyline from Shibuya Sky, and explored the anime and gaming wonderland of Akihabara. To end my Tokyo adventure, I spent a magical day at Tokyo Disneyland, reliving childhood dreams.

This trip to Kanto was for Disney, but I also stayed for two days to visit Lake Kawaguchi and Lake Yamanaka around Tokyo to quietly enjoy the tranquility under Mount Fuji. I’m sharing my tips on how to take care of your baby for 5 days and 4 nights without getting tired. Remember to save it! Day 1️⃣ We arrived in Tokyo at noon and arranged to be picked up from the airport and taken directly to the hotel. We stayed in a hotel near the Tokyo Skytree in order to visit Tokyo DisneySea the next day. In the afternoon and evening, I strolled around the hotel, ate Wagyu beef, and walked to the Tokyo Skytree in the evening. I bought tickets for the Tokyo Skytree Lighthouse in advance, which were cheaper than on-site. Day 2️⃣ I booked the hotel's free shuttle bus at 7:30 in the morning to go directly to the entrance of DisneySea in advance. I started queuing at around 8 o'clock. It was not too late at this time, and admission was very fast before 9 o'clock. Share my tips for Dongdi Ocean Park ✅Download Tokyo Disney Resort in advance and start clearing various quick passes as soon as you enter the park. Choose according to the priority level of what you want to play.
