Everybody talks about Positano and Amalfi, but
Vietri Sul Mare is one of the best towns along the Amalfi Coast that I’ve visiting during my visit in September.
The chilling vibes, friendly locals, with no traffic jams land it’s the town is filled with vibrant ceramics. This town is also easily accessible by train from Naples so don’t miss out this beautiful spot when you’re in Amalfi Coast.
Generally people were nicer in this small lil town, we actually spent time with the locals, potters, chefs, they were all really friendly.
For souvenirs stop by Antica Ceramica Avallone Pasquale during your visit his work of art is one of a kind 🫏
For food we highly recommend Trattoria e Pizzeria da Raffaele we had the best handmade spaghetti vongole, fried seafood batter and white wine to pair with it! It was unforgettable an unforgettable meal!

Departing from the Varco Immacolatella station in Naples, SITA Sud operates buses to Amalfi town. This route does not pass through Sorrento on the west coast, but passes through Vietri sul Mare and Maiori on the east side, and travels along the coast from east to west to reach Amalfi town, with a journey time of 2 hours.
Monday to Friday, three shifts per day (9:00, 14:30, 17:30), ticket price.
