Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque has strict requirements on women’s clothing. They must cover their heads and wear long-sleeved tops. They cannot wear see-through clothes and their clothes must cover their ankles. There are rumors online that you can borrow clothes at the entrance, but there are none! Now you have to buy them at the merchandise store. It is not expensive, 45 AED, but it is not worth spending the money. It is very hot to visit the Grand Mosque in the daytime. Even if you take enough sunscreen, you can still get sunburned easily. The recommended visit time is 2 hours. The Grand Mosque is very beautiful and is a great place for taking photos. Abu Dhabi Cultural Village is located on the seaside avenue. It is like an outdoor museum. It is free to visit and displays traditional crafts such as shipbuilding and weapons, as well as horse pens and sheep.
