Toraya in Akasaka

Toraya is famous for its yokan. I went to the Akasaka store. The seasonal fresh sweets have flavors that are only available at the store, so be sure to check their website. (The hojicha in the photo is only available at the Midtown store!) The large store has a sales floor and a tea room. It has a different kind of calm to department stores, which is nice.
