If you're mainly here to watch the Angels, I definitely recommend it.

If you are mainly planning to watch the Angels, this is definitely a recommended hotel. Although I said it is a hotel, it feels more like a long-term apartment. In past reviews, there were comments such as "The facilities are old," "They don't make the bed unless you ask," and "The amenities are insufficient." It is certainly true, but whether it is a problem or not may vary from person to person, but for me, it was not a problem at all. With the weak yen and high prices in the United States, some people may think, "Is this the price we pay for this level?" One thing to note about the hotel is that the amenities are minimal. Of course, there are no toothbrushes, toothpaste, combs, cotton swabs, razors, etc. in the room from the beginning. There was shampoo, conditioner, body soap, box tissues, and I'm not sure what they were, but I think it was facial soap? You may be able to get them if you ask the front desk. There are also no bathrobes or slippers. If you need them, please bring them with you from the beginning. All cooking utensils are provided. However, you must bring or purchase locally the oil and seasonings you need for cooking. By the way, this is a matter of personal preference, but I don't think there are any stores within walking distance where you can easily go shopping for ingredients. Is there an ampm nearby? However, there are almost no ingredients that can be used for cooking, so if you are expecting a Japanese convenience store, you will be shocked. The hotel offers free breakfast, but you should basically rotate it about once every two days. There are not many varieties, and I stayed for 8 nights and never had a salad, so I don't think they offer salads. If you are concerned about your health, you should purchase salads from a convenience store or fast food restaurant. This is also a matter of personal preference, but in this day and age, I would not complain if you could get it for free😆 A small convenience store next to the front desk? But honestly, there were hardly any items that caught my eye. I guess they only had ice cream, drinks, simple snacks, and frozen foods. By the way, there were no postcards or stamps. The elevator feels quite old, but it's not a problem, and I don't think it's a problem to use the stairs. The walls of the room are thin as the reviews say, so you can hear the surrounding noises, but I didn't find it to be a problem. They may come to make the bed and clean the room if you ask them, but I always used the "do not knock" sign because I wanted to use the room freely. I left a tip when I checked out. When the trash in the room piled up, they took it to the trash area at the end of the hallway and threw it away. I didn't find any cockroaches 😆 Finally, regarding the location of the hotel in relation to the surrounding area, there are several fast food restaurants nearby, so you won't have any trouble eating out. However, if you cook for yourself, you will have to go to a restaurant a little further away to buy ingredients. Also, the main baseball park is close, and the general security is good, so it's a pretty high point. However, if you use a navigation system, you may be directed to a main road, which I think is a waste of time. On the way to the baseball park, there is a facility called "City.National Grove.Anaheim", but you can save a lot of time by crossing the parking lot next to it and the parking lot at the Angels Baseball Park. However, after the game, it is dark and it can be difficult to tell where you are, and you need to be careful of vehicles heading home or you could get into an accident. As for the hotel staff, I didn't have any unpleasant experiences. Basically, they didn't understand Japanese, so I used gestures or the translation function on my iPhone to communicate. The cleaning staff in the hallway and the front desk greeted me, of course, and the Mexican staff was cheerful and chatted to me about various things.
