YAZA Wild Mountain Hotel is nestled in Xumu Natural Village of Dali Village in Shanchuan Township, Anji, surrounded by endless bamboo forests and lush mountains. Just a 1-hour drive from Hangzhou or 2 hours from Shanghai, it's a hidden gem in the "Golden Vacation Circle" of Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and Shanghai! When navigating to the hotel, travel along the rainbow-colored road through bamboo groves until the beige stone buildings come into view. Cross the stone bridge to reach this secluded village retreat. As the same designer behind "Ji Xia Shan·Meili," Xie Ke and Zhao Yang applied their "design retreat" concept to transform 40 acres of land into a hidden community of 12 courtyards with 60 guest rooms. Soil, stone, and yellow walls form the main color palette, with small gray-tiled sloping roofs and bamboo fences marking courtyard boundaries, resembling a naturally grown ancient village. The architectural lines are clean yet non-invasive, while warm wooden furniture and floor-to-ceiling windows bring in views of lush greenery, turning every frame into a stunning mountain aesthetic masterpiece. The hotel features 60 rooms spread across 12 courtyards, with basic rooms starting at 45-60㎡! Large floor-to-ceiling windows frame the bamboo forest and mountain views like natural paintings. First-floor rooms open directly to the courtyard, while second-floor rooms enjoy private viewing balconies. The interiors continue Xie Ke's signature wabi-sabi style, with plain white walls, rattan furniture, and handcrafted pottery as accents. Amenities are from boutique high-end brands, and some rooms even feature vinyl record players—falling asleep to "Summer of Kikujiro" is utterly romantic. The hotel restaurant, named "Yuan," specializes in "local ingredients × creative cuisine." Anji bamboo forest chicken, mountain bamboo shoots, and stream fish are transformed into fusion dishes blending Chinese and Western styles. The breakfast buffet is abundant with freshly made wonton soup, handmade buns, fresh fruits, and carefully selected coffee beans to start an energetic day.
