Discover the Ancient Roman Aqueduct

The Pont d'Aël is an interesting ancient Roman aqueduct and bridge near Aosta. It was built in the first century BC to supply water to a nearby town. It's also one of the oldest surviving examples of a bridge with a segmental arch, which is like a curved shape that supports the weight of the bridge. You can still visit it today and see how the Romans engineered this amazing structure. #italy #aosta #getaway
