Panoramic city view from the observatory

I visited Sternwarte during their Open Day event. This observatory, built in the 18th century, offered a fascinating experience with the guide explaining in detail about the building's history, including drawings from the 19th century and photos of its restoration before and after World War II. The restoration of the observatory reportedly cost 2 million euros. I had no idea such a place existed in the heart of Mannheim city, and discovering it made the visit even more special.
