Gaztelugatxe (Dragonstone Island), Basque Country: A Treasure Island in Northern Spain! 🐉⛰️

#summervacay When the sun is out, Gaztelugatxe in Spain's northern Basque Country is absolutely stunning! It truly feels like a hidden gem. Entry & Booking: Admission: It's FREE! Getting There & Parking: By Car: We rented a car, and it took us less than 40 minutes to drive there from Bilbao Airport. Parking: Just navigate directly to the parking lot (as seen in the last picture). An attendant at the entrance will collect a parking fee of 3.5 Euros. Dining Options: Right outside the parking lot, you'll find a couple of restaurants: Left-hand side restaurant: This one boasts an incredibly beautiful view, with a vast green lawn and blooming hydrangeas. It's the perfect spot to sit back, relax, and enjoy a coffee. Right-hand side restaurant: This restaurant has a very picturesque glass window, ideal for taking beautiful photos. We actually ate here. The waitstaff didn't speak English, so we just pointed to what other people were eating to order our food. The taste was decent, but the hygiene was just so-so.
