Te Ligang Gate Water Palace - A real royal palace, a place for tourists to cool off and take photos

Tirta Gangga Water Palace is a characteristic palace of the Tanah Lot Temple in Bali, a beautiful maze of pools and fountains, a garden surrounded by green trees, and many stone carvings and statues. The one-hectare complex was built beginning in 1948 by the successor states of the Karangsem Kingdom, but was almost completely destroyed by the eruption of nearby Mount Agung in 1963. It has been meticulously rebuilt and restored to exude a truly royal air. The centerpiece of the palace is an eleven-tiered fountain, and the gardens are decorated with many beautiful carvings and statues. When you step into the Tirta Gangga Water Palace, you will be amazed by its scale! The entire large garden is filled with small rivers and statues. It is very grand and very Balinese!
