Lempuyang Temple: Capture the Gates of Heaven

Today, we're taking you behind the scenes to see what it's really like. 📍 We left Nusa Dua at 6:00 AM and arrived at the temple around 8:20 AM. Upon arrival, you'll need to get in line for a photo queue, and there are usually plenty of people waiting. Expect a wait time of about 2-3 hours! While waiting, you'll have time to plan your poses—up to four poses, as each person, couple, or group is allowed only a few quick shots. The process is fast, and everyone will be watching you as you pose. 🪞 The iconic photo spot uses a clever mirror technique to create a water reflection effect. The temple staff will take the photo using your phone. 💡 If you want to skip the wait, consider exploring other scenic viewpoints within the temple.
