Think twice before you act! Kelingking Beach in Nusa Penida might not be for you

Escaping the summer heat in June by heading to the islands, I chose the highly recommended Nusa Penida in Indonesia. Kelingking Beach📍 is the #1 must-visit spot. The scenery is undeniably breathtaking, but... 💬 I sincerely advise: Sisters with average physical fitness, think carefully before descending! ⸻ 🌀 My firsthand experience: ⛰️ Getting from the cliff top to the beach requires climbing down using hands and feet—there’s no proper path, just gravel, wooden sticks, and chains. It’s hot, steep, sunny, and slippery. 📷 The best photo spot is already at the cliff top—the panoramic view is that famous "Dinosaur Bay" picture you see online. The essence is the bird’s-eye view; going down actually worsens the perspective. 🥵 We arrived before 9 AM when the sun hadn’t fully hit the sea, so the blue-green color contrast wasn’t vivid, and the photos turned out mediocre.
