Unlike Bali's more famous, crowded beaches, Gunung Payung is a quiet sanctuary, largely untouched by heavy commercialization. Here, you'll find a charming seaside restaurant facing the Indian Ocean, a beach perfect for both surfing and simply lounging, and a picturesque staircase leading down to it all. Access & Experience Entry Fee: There's a small entrance fee of 20,000 IDR per person. Getting Down: If you arrive by taxi, you'll be dropped off at an inside entrance. To reach the restaurant and the beach below, you can either walk down the beautiful staircase or take a shuttle service. My Recommendation: I highly suggest walking down the stairs! It's not difficult, taking only about 10 minutes, and the scenery along the way is absolutely stunning and perfect for photos.
