Bang Pa-In Palace is

Bang Pa-In Palace is located in Bang Pa-in District, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province. It is an ancient palace built during the Ayutthaya period by King Prasat Thong because it was his birthplace. Until the fall of Ayutthaya for the second time, it was abandoned. Later, during the reign of King Rama IV, the palace was renovated. However, a major renovation was carried out during the reign of King Rama V. Additional throne halls and palaces were built to welcome foreign royal guests.
