Wat Yannawa

Wat Yan Nawa, a third-class royal temple, common type affiliated with the Mahanikaya sect, located on the banks of the Chao Phraya River on Charoen Krung Road, Yan Nawa Subdistrict, Sathon District, Bangkok. It is an ancient temple that has been around since the Ayutthaya period. It was originally called "Wat Khok Khwai" because many Thavoy people settled there. The Thavoy people would bring their buffaloes to trade and exchange. The village in that area was later called "Baan Khok Khwai". #WatYanNawa #BangkokAttractions
