Montien Riverside Hotel

📍 Montien Riverside Hotel The hotel is located on Rama III Road along the Chao Phraya River. 🚙 There is a parking building that can accommodate a large number of cars and you can park in front of the lobby for about 4-5 cars. ✻ Montien Hotel is a famous old 5-star hotel. But I must say that the interior does not look as old as you think. It is beautifully decorated and clean. The ceiling is high and you can see the river view of almost the entire hotel. 🏘 The lobby is at the very front from the entrance. But since we booked a Club room, we will be able to check-in on the Club floor, so we do not have to wait in line to check-in like other rooms. 🏘 The Club area has drinks and snacks prepared for us. We can sip tea, eat snacks and enjoy the beautiful view of the Chao Phraya River while the staff checks in. And the club area has drinks and snacks for those staying in the Club room throughout the stay. You can come down to eat or sit and relax as many times as you want. Plus, the staff are lovely and provide very good service. Very impressive. ✻ What you cannot miss when coming to Montien Hotel is Montien Chicken Rice. We just tried it for the first time. It was really delicious, as the rumors say. The rice was not too oily and came with soft chicken. The sauce was also very tasty. ✻ The hotel's swimming pool is on the 6th floor. The pool is not very big compared to the number of rooms in the hotel. But from what I noticed, there weren't many guests using the pool, so the pool wasn't too crowded. 🛏We booked a spacious Club room. From our room, we could see a beautiful view of the Chao Phraya River and Terminal 21 Rama 3. We requested an extra bed with breakfast for 1 person. The price for an extra bed with breakfast was 1,200 baht per person, which was not expensive at all. The room was spacious, so there was plenty of space to add another bed. The bathroom was also spacious, with both a shower box and a bathtub. ✻ In the evening, we went for a walk along the river. The atmosphere was great and we took some really nice pictures. We could sit, walk, and enjoy the atmosphere along the Chao Phraya River without too many people or chaos. It was a really worthwhile vacation. 🚙There is a parking lot. #Rainy season attractions
