Important architectural features 🏰The ordination hall, with an exterior design in Thai architecture, and a Gothic interior, similar to a Christian church, houses the principal Buddha image, Phra Phuttha Angkhirot (with a halo radiating from his body), in a meditation pose, wearing a realistic wrinkled robe, in keeping with Western concepts introduced during the reign of King Rama IV. 🏰Under the throne of Phra Phuttha Angkhirot, are the relics of four kings: Kings II - V, the relics of Somdet Phra Sri Sulalai, and Somdet Krom Phraya Sudarat Ratchaprayoon. Princess of King Rama III 🙏And at this marble base, the royal ashes of King Rama VII, Queen Rambhai Barni, and King Rama IX are enshrined. 🏰The Vihara is in the same shape as the Ubosot, both inside and outside, but the doors and windows are carved from wood with royal decorations.
